Data import and export

ConSol CM provides various possibilities to import data to the ConSol CM system or export data from the ConSol CM system. This section describes the required items.

• Import

  The import allows to transfer data from a scene file to a ConSol CM system.

• Staging export

  The staging export allows to write data from a ConSol CM system to a scene file, in order to transfer the configuration from a development system to a production system.

• Custom export

  The custom export allows to write selected configuration data from a ConSol CM system to a scene file, in order to transfer a functionality implemented in a development system to another development system..

• System documentation

  The system documentation feature allows you to export the configuration of your ConSol CM system into a file.

• Data directory

  The design and resources folders in the data directory of ConSol CM contain files for visualization scripts and skinning.

• ETL

  ETL allows the import and export of runtime data in a ConSol CM system.
