Projects
Introduction to projects in ConSol CM
Projects serve reporting purposes and are used for manual time booking. They are assigned to a queue, so that users can book time to the project for cases of the queue, see Manual time booking.

Settings for projects
The following settings are available for projects:

Internal name: The internal name of the project.

Localized name: The localized name of the project which is displayed in the Web Client.
Basic tasks
Managing projects
Projects are managed on the Projects page of the Web Admin Suite. The following actions are available:

Create a new project
Click the New project button above the list of projects or duplicate an existing project by clicking the Duplicate icon of a project. Provide the required settings, see Settings for projects. -
Edit a project
Click the Edit icon or project’s row and update the desired data, see Settings for projects. -
Deactivate a project
You can deactivate a project by clicking the Deactivate icon.If you deactivate a project, it cannot be used for time bookings anymore, but it is still displayed for existing time bookings.

Activate a project
You can activate projects which are deactivated by clicking the Activate icon. -
Delete a project
You can delete a project which is not assigned to any queue or used in any time booking by clicking the Delete icon.
Configuring manual time booking
You need to perform the following steps to enable manual time booking in the Web Client:

Create a project on the Projects page.

Assign the project to the desired queues. This can be done either using the Used in queues field of the project or in the details of the respective queue.
