Usability improvements for CM/Track V3
The following usability improvements for the CM/Track V3 have been made.
Fully configurable start page (#666983)
The start page in CM/Track V3 is now completely configurable via portal configuration. The four default blocks (welcome headline, image, search field, and case creation tiles) are treated as widgets that can be added, removed, rearranged, or hidden.
The Portal configuration page of the Web Admin Suite has been adjusted for this purpose. The section Widgets on welcome page has been renamed to Welcome page. Four types of widgets have been added:
- Header (
DashboardHeader) - Search bar (
DashboardSearch) - Image (
DashboardImage) - Case creation tiles (
CreateTicket)
All widgets can be positioned freely on the grid.
A Reset layout button has been added to restore the default widget arrangement.
On update, the new widgets are added to the top of the existing widget configuration, so that the start page looks as it did before. It can be adjusted as needed, later.
