Operating ConSol CM
This section describes common tasks which need to performed when operating a ConSol CM system, after its initial setup. It also contains information about best practices and some technical background information.
Operation-related tasks are performed in several places:
- On the machine where ConSol CM is executed. This applies to tasks which affect the application itself or the third-party software which it uses. Examples: starting and stopping the application, performing an update, creating a database backup.
- In the Web Admin Suite. Most of the tasks which affect the data handled by the application and its functioning can be performed on a graphical user interface. Examples: repair the index, download log files, manage mailboxes. The relevant menu items can be found under Email, Operation and DWH.
