Changes to supported software

The following changes to supported operating systems, application servers, databases, browsers and Java versions have been made.

Support for JBoss changed (#661357)​

The support for JBoss as an application server for running ConSol CM has been changed. JBoss 8 is now supported and the support for JBoss 7 has been dropped.

warning

You need to update to JBoss 8 in order to use this ConSol CM version.

Support for MySQL 5 dropped (#662795)​

The support for MySQL 5 has been dropped.

warning

You need to update to MySQL 8 in order to use this ConSol CM version.

End of support for CM/Track V2 (#663261)​

The support for CM/Track V2 has been ended in ConSol CM version 6.18.

You need to migrate to CM/Track V3 for continued support and updates. Your existing CM/Track V2 configuration and the related system properties are not deleted, so that they can be used for the migration.

Please proceed as follows:

  1. Deploy cm-track-v3-standalone-6.18.0.0.jar and cm-auth-portal-user-6.18.0.0.jar, or deploy cm-track-v3-6.18.0.0.war and cm-auth-portal-user-standalone-6.18.0.0.war.
  2. Restart ConSol CM.
  3. Go to Portal configurations.
  4. Click the New configuration button.
  5. Select your CM/Track V2 configuration in the Based on CM/Track V2 configuration selector.
  6. Click the Save button.
  7. If you use SSO authentication, review the Authentication tab and adjust the settings based on the OIDC properties of CM/Track V2 (starting with oidc.track.).

Support for Wildfly changed (#664161)​

The support for Wildfly as an application server for running ConSol CM has been changed. Wildfly 35 is now supported and the support for Wildfly 26 has been dropped.

You need to update to Wildfly 35 in order to use this ConSol CM version.
