Access and Roles

This menu group contains pages to manage users and give them access to the ConSol CM system. Access is granted via roles which comprise several permissions, user functions and views.

  • Users: Every user who wants to log in to the Web Client or Web Admin Suite needs a user account. The credentials for users in CM/Track are managed in the Web Client. The required user profiles are created in the Web Admin Suite in a similar way as the user accounts.
  • Roles: Roles bundle the different permissions for assigning them to users.
  • Views: Views determine which cases are shown in the case list in the Web Client. They serve as to-do lists for the users.
  • User functions: Users who cooperate as participants in cases receive a user function which describes their responsibilities for the case.
